Jamboree schedule set

Saint John's to host 12 varsity, four junior varsity teams in tournament

COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. – Saint John's Lacrosse is excited to announce the schedule for the 2nd Annual Johnnie Jamboree.

This year's field have both a Junior Varsity and Varsity tournament and will include Bloomington Kennedy, Burnsville, Centennial, Champlin Park, Chisago Lakes, Edina, Elk River/Zimmerman, Irondale, Mahtomedi, Minnetonka, Rosemount and St. Michael-Albertville.

"We are excited to host a great group of teams on campus for what should be a great tournament," said Saint John's head coach Derek Daehn. "We think people will enjoy the great facilities here in Collegeville while getting excellent experience heading into the upcoming spring season."

In addition to the high school tournament, Saint John's will host its conference game against North Dakota State, the 2018 MCLA DII National Champions. The collegiate clash will take place at Gagliardi Dome on Saturday, April 8 at 2:00pm. Admission to the game will be free.

Important Game Information

All games will consist of 60-minute time slots and include an eight-minute warmup, two 25-minute running time halves and a two-minute halftime.

Gagliardi Dome field must be cleared at 1:00pm on Saturday, April 6 for warmups to begin prior to the Saint John's game against North Dakota State.

No games can or will take place outside at Clemens Stadium prior to 10:00am and after 2:00pm on Saturday, April 6.
