By SJU News Desk, 01/28/20, 8:30PM CST

The Johnnies have once again scheduled a talent-rich group of opponents consisting of 12 regular seasons games.  For the first time in its history SJU will be traveling to Montana in the first week of March to play University Montana, Montana State and Utah State.

The UMLC conference opponents will be the familiar foe of  NDSU, University of Minnesota-Duluth, Grand Valley State and University of St. Thomas.  All of which were 2019 MCLA National Tournament participants.

The annual Johnnie/Tommie game will be played Saturday, April 4th at 2pm at St. Johns.  This game will be the showcase of the Johnnie Jamboree, which is a collection of elite high school preseason scrimmages on the campus of St. Johns in Collegeville, MN.

St. Johns has also a series of Division 1 crossover games featuring University of Kansas, Illinois State, University of Minnesota, Iowa State and GLL Member University of Iowa.

"We're really looking forward to starting the season," St. John's coach Derek Daehn said. "We spent a lot of time scheduling tough opponents that will challenge us each time we step on the field."

St. Johns kicks off its 2012 Campaign with a scrimmage vs NAIA William Penn in Collegeville at 4:30pm.
