UMLL, partner to webcast 2012 Playoffs on

Seafoam Stadium on the campus of Concordia University in St. Paul, Minn.

It will be a year of firsts during the annual Upper Midwest Lacrosse League (UMLL) Playoffs during the April 27-29 weekend.

Overtime Sports Network ( -- a local Minneapolis company -- has approached the UMLL to live-stream all playoff games scheduled at Seafoam Stadium on the campus of Concordia University in St. Paul, Minn.

"We are looking forward to our new relationship with the MCLA through the UMLL," President Pete Waggoner said.  "It is a great opportunity for us to showcase the game of Lacrosse and the high level of play at the collegiate level in the Upper Midwest."

The planned coverage will include live statistics, multiple cameras, play-by-play, highlights and post-game interviews. The games can be seen at and will be produced in by the Overtime Sports Network ( and presented by Homegrown Lacrosse.

The following games will be live-streamed (UPDATED):

  • Friday, April 27; UMLL DI No. 3-seed University of Minnesota vs. UMLL DI No. 6-seed St. Cloud State University, 6:30 p.m.
  • Friday, April 27; UMLL DII No. 3-seed North Dakota State University vs. UMLL DII No. 6-seed St. Olaf College, 9:15 p.m.
  • Saturday, April 28; UMLL DI No. 1-seed University of Minnesota - Duluth vs. UMLL DI No. 4-seed Minnesota State University - Mankato, 10:45 a.m.
  • Saturday, April 28; UMLL DII No. 1-seed St. John's University vs. UMLL DII No. 5-seed Bethel University, 1:45 p.m.
  • Sunday, April 29; UMLL DI Championship, 12 p.m.
  • Sunday, April 29; UMLL DII Championship, 3:30 p.m.

As noted above, the Johnnies hold the Division 2 top-seed in the UMLL playoffs.
