As summer approaches and preparations begin for next year, St. John’s Lacrosse looks back on a historic and memorable 2013 season.
After making an Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA) record ninth consecutive appearance at the Division II National Tournament, the Johnnies finished the season with a 13-3 overall record following a triple-overtime loss to Westminster College in the semifinals.
“There really is no way to put into words what this season meant,” St. John’s coach Derek Daehn said. “We’ve always considered our team a family and that definitely was the case this year.
