With a new school year, St. John’s Lacrosse reflects on 2014 -- one of the best seasons in program history.
Continuing to set Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA) records by making their tenth consecutive appearance at the Division II National Tournament, the Johnnies fell one goal short of their first National Championship losing 12-11 to Grand Valley State University in the title game.
“To see the way this team came together and the results we shared on the field was amazing,” St. John’s coach Derek Daehn said. “It was obviously a tough way to end the season but I'm extremely proud of this team."
